Hollywood Camerawork New DVD

[Tim Hole]

Hollywood Camerawork have just released a new DVD

HOT MOVES: The Science Of Awesome

Despite the title, as anyone who has watched any of their other series its not as basic and cheesey as it seems. Have downloaded it from their site and will let you know what I think.

Check out their page...

and watch a fifteen minute preview.

Hadn't heard anything, but a directing actors would be a great inclusion, although I think a slight step away from what they have done previously. I'm not sure that a directing actors set would work in the same style as the other courses.

Thanks for the heads up Tim.

I want this. Kinda badly.

Its really fun when ideas you work with instinctually are explained scientifically.

Just downloaded it and watched a good chunk of it. It´s again a great DVD.
I have all other DVDs as well and they are so worth there money.

it´s really a complete filmclass in your hand.
I converted them to fit on my Ipad so i carry them arround with me all the time, and if I´m stuck in a problem or run out of ideas, it´s always there to help me out or give me some inspiration.

Good for you, Manuel! I think the same way. I like to have a visually strong movie thats similar in style to what I am going for on hand. While I have yet to use it, just having the backup for ideas creates peace of mind.

[Kwan Khan]

Just finished, very informative.
If anyone need it, please contact me ($40)
Cheers

Just got the email. Looks good.

There was another series that was to be released next year(?) but I don't recall what it was and seems to be gone from the web pages.

It may have been about directing actors. Does anyone remember?

I ask because it seemed like another excellent DVD series to get when available and hope it's still in the works.

Got an email from Per Holmes today, it confirms what you mentioned. This DVD is helping to fund the Directing Actors set that they are aiming for a 2011/2 release for. I look forward to it.
