Apologies if this topic has been covered a dozen times before, but can anyone recommend a decent, yet inexpensive haze machine?

For reference, we've been looking at the Chauvet Hurricane Haze series...

Pretty sure that's not a real hazer. I think the least expensive true portable hazer is the DF-50, but it is nowhere near that price. There are TONS of cheap foggers that label themselves hazers but they are not. If you've used a real hazer before, you will notice the difference the second you turn it on.

DUDE ROSCO VHAZER. Its the shit. Some of the best money I've spent.

what kind of residue does the haze leave behind? I'm guessing it's oil based, so is there much in the sense of having to clean up a lot after using the Rosco? Thanks for the suggestion!

Rosco fluid swears up and down that their fluid leaves no residue, which is true from my limited experience with it. They actually won a technical Oscar for their fluid formula, for what it's worth.

Hi

I have the Elation Professional Antari F-5 Fazer. It is water based and it is awesome!! Dmx and W-Dmx. Huge output.

Hope it helps
