I'm setting up a quad core Mac Pro for rendering MXF files with Redcine X.
Can anyone advise me regarding hard drives please -
Is there an advantage to saving the renders on a different hard drive than the one the OS and Redcine X run on?
Is there any performance advantage to using a faster RAID 0 for the render files?
If not, I might as well use RAID 1 for protection?

Thanks for any tips :)
