stepping from the Canon C300, C300 mikk that has built in ND filters to the Red Dragon, what would be a good direction for filters as a basic start. Thanks

I'm looking at Schneider Platinum IRND 4x5.6 1.2, 1.5 and 1.8 Anyone using them?

The answer depends on the brightness of your shooting environment. I mainly shoot outdoors and ND2.1 is commonly employed.
As the vendors ship pretty fast you could buy the ND1.5 and try it out. Then decide do you need more or less.
