  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Good 100mm bowl tripod/head suggestion

which one i should prefer? 1030D or 1030Ds.Seems there is a difference with payload and Tilt angle.

I own the 1030Ds with the greater payload capacity. Wish I had gone with Phil's choice, the 1030D with the 90º tilt. Why? Try filming the Blue Angels with a 60º tilt head. Doesn't work so well. It's like swatting at flies with a short flyswatter.

Sachtler 20 or OC 1030Ds are great options. Last forever

Mark,

There's no need for the 1030...I got the 1030DS and when I need more tilt range, I'll pick up one of these...ok...maybe no "need" is a strong word, but I think that with one of these puppies in your kit, when you need a little extra range, you'll be golden!...just like those Blue Angels! I saw them here at a base in Atlanta- man can they fly!...

Let me know if you think this is something that could/will help you...
