Hey Everyone,
Looking for some insight, I've seen people run into some issues with power draw and the 1tb angle bird cards but this might be a little different. See if anyone has a solution.
Over the weekend I shot 7 cards. Anglebird 256 AV Pro. at one point the komodo kinda seized up on. screen was black but the small leds on the side where one. Was abaout to get ready for a shot so just toggled the power off waited a moment and then toggled it back on and camera booted up all fine and we resumed shooting. shortly there after I shot out the card and switched to a new one.
fast forward to the evening when I'm offloading footage and I come to the card that was in the camera at the time of the reset. I mount the card. its slow to mount but finally does, i click it and then i get a loading wheel, (i'm on mac, latest ox etc, tried mounting on pc as well no luck) and the window just keeps loading but nothing loads, after a minute or so the disk unmounts itself and i get a prompt not to remove the media without ejecting first. I bring the card back to the camera and pop it in, i get a prompt saying i need a scan and fix. i do so. all clips load, i can watch them in play back and all seems fine in camera.
back to the computer disk wont mount can't find it. open disk utilities, nothing there, run redundead disklist, nothing there. put the card back in the camera, all clips loads good to go.
The other 6 cards have transferred no problem and were totally fine. I'm using a Hyper drive c-fast card reader. might not be the top tier reader but has work so far with no issues with alexa, blackmagic and komodo (save this one card) I'm going to a rental hose tomorrow to test another reader though just in case its an issue.
would love any insight or ideas to save the footage. besides this, loving the camera so far, ran it with auto focus on a gimbal and a canon 24 stm all weekend and was super fun for doc work. the small and lite body is great for long shooting days.
Thanks everyone for ideas.
