Hi !
I was just wondering if I am using an external audio recorder with the Fixed Scarlet will I have to invest in the Pro I/O Module; Or is there a port on the Scarlet for timecode sync ?
I hope there is ! My budget for the Fixed Scarlet is increasing every day.
Don't get me wrong I want this camera, but this is another 1,200 or more I had earmarked this for either cards or a SSD and Red Station.

Thanks

Timecode I/O is not on the brain, it is on both the base and pro I/O modules.

Hi Deanan ! Does this mean I can attach an external Recorder to the Brain and use it directly to sync timecode without purchasing the Base or Pro I/O ?

Sorry just a bit confused.

I asked this ? at the Scarlet event and was told that you can sync the Scarlet to an external recorder. The details are kind of hazy to me, so I'd investigate it further but I think you should be okay.

Correct. Timecode, Genlock, and Sync In/Out ports are on the brain.
