I am interested in shooting the Komodo Dragons in 4k, as a personal non commercial project and also own a fully kitted out Red. Any recommendations for lodging/safety? I want to go on vacation to there on a tour I guess and bring a Red, unless there is a better way to secure safe longer term lodging you might know of. Thanks!

Hi, last time i was there using Phinisi boat for one week, i'am actualy doing commercial photoshooting for that boat company, and we just stop in many places around there. if you want to stay in Komodo island for the whole vacation, i will ask around for you. thanks

Hello, as you can check on the web they got so many hotel now at the island, or if you want to try something deference you can join Sea Safari Cruise like what i did before, you can shoot entire island from the water, but of course it depends on the water. my camera got splash by the water from starboard side as i'm shooting the island fortunately i was using plastic wrap to cover the camera. i hope this is help a bit, but if you have any other question, i'm happy to help. thank you
