Hi guys...

Just wondering if any of you having success with Sonnet SATA Express cards(namely Tempo SATA III 6Gb) with the RED Station.
I have a 15"MBP w/Express 34 slot and ended up buying one to make my transfer speeds faster than FW800.
This is the one i bought...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sonnet-Temp...AT1G/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1332515690&sr=8-7

The laptop recognizes the card but RED STATION wont mount when i plug in the eSata cable so i can only assume the two are not compatible...

Any ideas???

Cheers

I'm not sure if what I'm about to say is relevant to your problem, but if not, maybe it is to someone else's. My computer, a PC running Windows 7 would not recognize my Red Station 1.8 when I had a new 256 GB SSD inserted. It had previously recognized without fail when I had a 128 Redmag loaded. Then I rebooted and noticed the computer was installing a driver for the same Red Station that had always been plugged in via eSATA but with a new driver to handle the new SSD. I do not understand why that would be required, but now it works.
