Any suggestions to this problem?
Every time I shoot with the camera the proxie files look like this, when i open them in QT! Has anybody seen this before?
When I open the proxie files i shot with the camera last week, there is no problem.

When the RAW file is imported to REDCINE, it looks OK.
I tried yesterday to play the same file in REDCINE and it played the file OK but when i looked at the area where the timecode is displayed, this area tured into red in some kind of pulse..on..off...on.....

The file you look at is a screenshoot.

Camerabuild 12. 1.8.6
MaC 2x3 ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Memory 8 GB
Mac OS X version 10.5.1

Quicktime version 7.3.1

you are shooting 4k, which is not supported by either QT or Red Alert. (at this time...please search for that term there are plenty of threads and posts that discuss this)

if you shoot 4k 2:1 you will not have this problem.

most likely the files and content are perfect, but those two programs are unable to recognize the 4k data...

Steen,
Kosmos is right. What is you workflow overall?
IBloom

I shoot in 4k 2:1
25 frames
I use an 8 gb flash card
Import the files to an harddisk
Open the proxy 2k/1K/0.5k files in QT, and here we are.
I did the same thing last week, and that gave me no trouble.

:-)

Sorry guys

You are so right. The camera was set to 4K 16/9 and not 4K 2:1.
Everything is OK again.

Best regards
