I have decided its time to sell my Epic X package. I am the original owner and this camera has only been used my commercial shoots. It is not a rental camera and it qualifies for the Dragon Upgrade.
This is a complete package put together to travel easily, but also to be quickly built up to whatever scale the production needs. The monitor and handles attach in seconds with nato (dovetail) brackets. The system has also been designed to be battery agnostic, meaning that it will take V-Lock, Anton Bauer, wall power and Block Battery XLR's without issue. I have always liked this flexibility since it allows me to travel anywhere for a job without lugging a ton of batteries. I just rent them wherever I'm shooting... cheap and easy.
It also comes with a Run/Stop Trigger Box and XLR Sound input (a-box) that have also been designed to attach to the camera with a nato rail. These units can be added and removed in seconds as the project requires. Normally, they're used with a hand held, run and gun style rig where a handle trigger is desired. We also use them when the camera is on a crane as it gives us the ability to start/stop everything using a long cord.
The kit is in superb condition and located in Los Angeles. I am selling it simply because I am a director, not a cinematographer or a rental house. I enjoy having this as my A or B camera on my shoots, but also I feel it takes the focus away from what my profession requires.

The retail if you were to buy it today for all this new (before taxes) is $31,865 for the package. Im asking $22500. Buyer pays for Transfer of Ownership. I am only interested in selling the entire package at this time, but will entertain all offers.This camera qualifies for Dragon. Basically, it's more or less the equivalent of purchasing a fully kitted Dragon at a significant discount from retail.
There are a few more professional power and rigging extras that I would be willing to part with at a significant discount to sweeten the deal. I will not sell these separately, but can add them to the package.
First, there's a SOLID CAMERA 24v SCATTERBOX2 (pictured). It's a Power Distribution Box and a critical bit of kit for bigger commercial shoots as it will power virtually everything the camera needs from a Preston, Multiple Monitors, Cinetape, Paralinx. It's a much more robust and powerful piece of kit compared to things like the Jetpack, or even some of what RED offers. Many folks might not need this, but if they do I'll throw it in for $950, which is about $450 off list.
Similarly I have a WC 15mm Studio Bridge Plate and WC 18" Arri Dovetail I can add to the kit for $750 (list $1049)
There's also an Element Technica Mantis Shoulder Rig. This is the industry standard rig and I can add for $1450 (list $1950)
