I just posted this - but I though it might be of general interest.
There is a great light weight Thunderbolt gear guide by John Montgomery for EPIC /Scarlet users on fxphd blog. John specs the latest portable Thunderbolt drives and kit and shows actual .r3d transfer times. This is what we will be using next week in LA for the VES And Oscars shooting EPIC.
