Not mounted to side of EPIC - as SDI ports hit the Blue/Gray Side handle tightening thingy on the backpack- BUT BoB will work on a say a RED or VF side arm rib. Spacecam offered to make a custom plate for that... super cool people... but Im rocking Anton Bauers now not bricks on the EPIC. So I don't need this and already bought the ViewFactor A B plate

Does the RedMote attach and charge with the BackPack Plate? I have 4 Red Bricks and a charger that I'd love to keep and use in conjunction with the 10 RedVolts I'll have. Just don't want to have to go through a removal process to charge the RedMote.

No, The backpack covers the pins and mounting point for the REDMote.

Actually, the Backpack is a V mount battery plate... goes where the red mote usually goes, there is not a way to mount it. You will need Brooks Shuttle Plate (for mounting REDMOTE on a side arm/rib) and he just developed a charger for the Redmote that is ingenious! So for the answer is yes IF you buy these two parts from BROOK.

True, but you can still do what he requested ... that is... you CAN rock AND charge a Redmote on the EPIC with the backpack battery plate...... just cannot mount the red mote on the BACK.

Also Perfect for Scarlet and Red bricks or any other V-mount Battery. Creates a nice compact form factor of the Epic/Scarlet and a nice companion to a short zoom for handheld or steady work

hey Tim, can you tell me what the length of the M4 screws were. I have to source them and I haven't been able to get the right length. trying to order some online tonight.
