  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Epic Dragon - Firmware Upgrade still going 1hour! Need Help!

Hi all

Just upgrading the firmware on an epic dragon, the first step seemed to be ok, flashed green and high fans then shutdown again, I removed the card and turned epic back on.

Now its sitting saying "firmware upgrade, Upgrading attached peripherals, this may take several minutes Do not power down during this process"

It has been well over an hour now! still sitting on this screen and no progress in the bar. What should I do, fans arent running fast for this step either.

Hi Matt,

I think RED may need to put a modificationon the upgrade instructions, unless this is not ur issue. Please report back here, if this works.

Remove ALL peripheral devices-I have used the 5 " Touchscreen and that works fine though, but others report issues with the & on board. Then reload the firmware. Follow directions as requested. power down after successful firmware upgrade-at least apparent. Then after the first restart and power down, add back ONE accessory at a time and restart-firmware on card removed-hopefully the monitor first and should work fine.
