  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

hi everyone! I have a RED Raven with a EF lens mount but there are some lenses I'd like to use that have PL mounts. I know that the Raven can't change its lens mount but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for adapters to put on the lens mount so I can use the PL mount lenses. Thanks!
 
Hey Iani,

I have a Cooke 20-100mm T3.1 lens up on mine. But it's a specific lens that was originally built in the 70's with a universal mount type system in order to switch from Arri PL and a Panavision mount or something of the like.

Duclos have made a Universal mount to EF for this specific reason to mount a few of these older zooms that have this mount.

So it's kind of possible, but not with all of the lenses!

It's crazy because I avoided PL for this reason, to stop be from buying expensive lenses!
