As Nikon and Canon release their 720P and 1080P, respectively, DSLRs with video capture...
Did I miss the announcement? Which Canon DSLR does 1080p?

Thoughts about REDS DSLR camera:
  1. Small is good
  2. Lenses compatible with what?
  3. We know video will be good, but what about the stills? Over at DPreview people sound tired of higher resolutions for stills. I'd prioritize that low. Low noise and everything else is a higher priority.
  4. Can we have consumer grade features? Infrared night shot mode?
  5. Image stabilization?
  6. Are red cameras protected from the elements: dust, rain, etc...?
  7. Release a firmware SDK so us developers can improve the cameras firmware. Add unthought of features. Motion sensing shooting for example. Hopefully camera will have plenty of memory for firmware expansion.

I vote for the name or code name to be DSMC. It works! :-)

Lol, maybe Jim let something slip that he knows

I doesn't take Nostradamus to figure out that this is where things are headed.
