  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Dragon + MM + Canon 100-400 + 1.4x = trouble

FYI--just discovered an issue during a shoot that was annoying to me that might be annoying to others. One particular lens combo with Dragon and Motion Mount is trouble:
Canon 100-400mm works great. Add the Canon 1.4x extender though and you lose the ability to reliably change aperture or MM ND value. Tried it all kinds of different ways--power camera on with lens on, without lens, without extender, bla bla. 70-200 with 1.4x works just fine.

It's a great combo, but it only works sometimes. Throw some screw on NDs in the bag just in case if you're heading out.
 
First thing would be to fill out a support ticket and let Red know, might just be a firmware bug. Also check and see if the lens and teleconverter are on the supported list. If its the new 100-400 and not the dust pump it may not be on there.
