HI,
I have a film trailer that i want to output to dpx for grade. I have the edl, but can't get my head around outputting/conforming to a 4K DPX. I have a red rocket, Crimson, Rubber monkey. I'm feeling a bit daft at the moment, so any help appreciated. Thank you.

Hans Daun has an alpha of Clipfinder which will let you do a Rocket accelerated render to DPX from an XML of an FCP offline, based on a method designed by Kaku Ito (LINK). I am testing it now, but obviously it is not for me to say when it will be ready for release.

Currently Crimson and Rubber Monkey won't help you as they work with REDline and Redcine, neither of which are Rocket accelerated.

What system are you looking to grade with?

Also ask yourself whether you really need to finish at 4k, just because you can!
