Hi all,
I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Doug Dales, founder of PS Production services here in Toronto.
Doug had great passion for film and did many wonderful things to support all aspects and people in the Canadian film industry. I am not sure many really know how wonderfully Doug lived his life and how much kindness and generosity he showed people. He is responsible for enriching the lives of many and in the weeks and months to come I am sure that you might be very moved by the stories Doug has left as part of his legacy.
In a private and humble way Doug looked after people and I am glad to have known him, even ever so briefly, because he lived and inspired life and inspired others.

This is the release that came out of PS Toronto this week.
It is with the most profound sense of sadness and loss that I must inform you of the passing of Douglas James Dales, founder and builder of our great company, patron of numerous causes, pursuer of many projects, supportive sponsor and lifelong friend to legions, generous contributor to the industry he helped assemble.
Family man, deep partner, a man of incredibly focused curiosity.
Doug passed away earlier this afternoon surrounded by his family.
We will all miss him terribly.
