Hey everyone,

I've been eyeballing the canon 17-55 lens for my komodo, I have the sigma 18-35 but sometimes I need a little more reach. Has anyone tired the 17-55? Do you get any vignetting?

I've just purchased this lens to put on my BM 6kpro. I will try it on the komodo and come back to you.

Just checked. Such a shame. Vignettes almost all the way through the range at 6k 17:9.

I.S making lots of strange noises too.

5K minor vignette.

I suppose the sensor is quite a bit bigger than the BM 6KPro.

Bummer! Its like the perfect range! That's how my 24-105 is when I turn the I.S on, it sounds like gears grinding so I turn it off right away. Thanks for trying it!

Just in case this info helps, on Scarlet Dragon 5k, Canon 17-55 vignettes. Tamron EF 17-50 2.8 covers a slightly larger area and does not vignette (I have the version I lens).
