  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Does SCARLET log the time it is ON, or just when Shooting Video ??

The Red-One logs the TOTAL number of hours it is running, regardless of the actual hours it is shooting.

Does the Scarlet do the same thing?

In other words, does the Scarlet log the hours it is on, whether it is shooting or not, or just the hours when it is actively recording video?

Thanks,

George

From my experience it looks like it's the time it's turned on. I let it run for around 20-30 minutes once doing a black shade calibration and the counter was higher by that amount.

Is it true a force upgrade restarts the count?

Is it true the next firmware will let you record backwards and in effect roll back the log hours? Finally once the FLIP option is available on the LCD, what effects will that cause on the time/space continuum?

No, it does not reset on firmware upgrade.

It worked for Ferris Bueller, didn't it? =P
