Do you have control over what part of the picture redcine transcodes?

Hey guys, Got a question for the experts here, being a noob to the program.

Long story short, I want to know if redcine can do a pan and scan of sorts (zooming in on part of the image, and outputting that as the hd final image)? If so, Can you walk me through how to do it?

You cannot Keyframe but,
You can however "zoom in" on any image and transcode that portion of the video.
Potentiallly without loosing any resolution depending on what you shot in and what your output is.
For example i shoot 4K HD and output 1080p giving me up to a full double punch in without any resolution loss.
Those settings can be found in the Shot set up under project on your left side of the screen.
Go to Shot Framing and just become familiar with the Shot Frame controls.
You cannot keyframe but you can re position or re fame your shot.
I know i said that twice im just in the double mood.

Got another question for you all... Can I set the in and out points for the transfer so I can only transfer the part of the shot I need? I assume you can, but we all know what an assumption gets you. Thanks in advance.
