Corrupted video file - Battery died before hitting cut ;'(

Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone can help me, I was shooting in pro res on the komodo this weekend and my battery died before I hit cut.

The file is there - its 87GB and about an hours of content. I have tried multiple video recovery programs but no luck so far. I know there is Red undead but this is just for the raw files, has anyone had this problem before with the pro res .mov?

I experienced this exact issue with Prores (makes one appreciate REDcode more)
and the best solution I found was Pro Maintenance tools by Digital Rebellion.

Usually it recovers the file with one big caveat that the audio channels are wiped in the file as the app seems to only recognize QT files with 2 channels as opposed to the usual 4 channels Komodo records.

I wrote Digital Rebellion about that issue but have not seen any updates that address it.

If you have audio from another source it might work otherwise you may have issues with the missing audio.
