Question about correct exposure indoors.
In this shot you can see the RGB levels for the exposure in the shot, it is the raw image in Resolve, no grading yet. When I shoot outdoors, I try try and maximize the exposure range. But when shooting indoors and I want things a little dark, do I also try and maximize the exposure range? I want the end result darker, blue and contrast, a little scary scene I am shooting with the kids. So do I still try and maximize the exposure range indoors and try crushing the darks in post, like I would expose for outside, or do I intentionally shoot it a little darker like I did?
Thanks!
