  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Since we are stepping into a whole new territory, this is a fertile ground for new solutions.

My opinion is that a combination of two approaches is the best way to go:

1. Manual real-time controls - physical control - rings with assignable functions

2. Other camera settings, clip navigation - touch screen with a display no smaller than current one. It doesn't matter that this solution is seen in consumer world - all the features which don't require real time manipulation should be controlled this way, with an ability to customize shortcuts. Multi-functionality is essential in this form factor.
Also, settings which don't require precise control could be manipulated with touch screen sliders.
 
Omen,

I'd like to see a single button near your focus/iris rings that turns on the focus assist. Fully agree about touch screen functions.

Also, just for the hell of it, let's say: LEICA M MOUNT!
