Dear RED team,

as we are getting closer to shipment (my #110 seems to be really in the next batch), I would like you to give us some advice for the exterior configuration of a RED ONE camera.

We've seen so many photos on the different equipped camera rigs, its really a time consuming task to figure out which parts you need to resemble the same configuration.

So I strongly encourage you to make a short text list as "parts list" for at least each of the configurations presented in the red camera photo tour:

http://www.red.com/cameras/photo_tour

Perfect would be a parts list plus the final amount.

Maybe "click & buy" at some point :) too, but for now the parts list would be very welcome.

As I am so close to the shipment I'd be pleased to learn more about the actual procedure: Clearly we have placed deposits on camera body and lenses. When do we need to place the order & deposit for final rig configuration, LCD, EVF, Flash card etc. stuff?
Is it best to do that as soon as possible, or am I getting contacted?
If I get contacted, how? By phone? By email? By fax?
I don't want to see a delay due to an email hitting the SPAM box...

I really like to see an official answer on this, and please, not tons of speculative assumptions from third parties not knowing any real info.

I guess the only poeple being able to answer are among RED#1 to #100 users (who had the procedure done already) and the RED team themselves.

Anybody wanting to see the same infos should clearly state that here. I got the feeling its coming up again and again, but I've not been able to find a definete answer yet.

Thanks in advance!

Axel

Its not too difficult to break down these pictures, if you invest a little time and knowledge.
If you are not a DP or are not used to working with a filmcamera(16/35mm),
you should find an AC(or someone who is) who can look at it for you and help decide what you need for your RED to meet your expectations.
I shoot commercials, musicvideos and features.
I have therefore ordered allmost all of the ascessories on the redstore that is not in the basic prodpack + 2 chargers and 6 batteries.
The RED company has told us that we can order ascessories when our order is up..even lenses.
Hope this helps a little
