Just finished up this piece for a local company. Mostly animation, but shot the interview on Scarlet with Master Primes...

Overkill? probably, well definitely, but hey why not? right?

Nice job. A couple of critique things:

I thought the talent blended into the background a bit too much...would have been nice if he or the BG was a blue, or something like that.

I don't know if it was my internet, or youtube, but his audio sync seemed off

Liked the graphics.

but I agree about BG, blue sky and green grass would look better and closer to the point.

definitely agree, had I had access to a green screen I would have jumped on it. In retrospect I should have lit him warmer I think (given the location)

Only because you asked:

I think the neutral background is less of an issue than the fact you have a big, pink guy in a pink and white shirt taking up 40-50% of the frame...over a neutral background. Juxtapose that with boldly colored and more saturated graphics and his shots seem to appear even flatter.

Lighting him a little warmer may have helped but I think the easiest fix (in theory) would've been to put him in a different colored shirt.

I realize that's probably the shirt he showed up in and you didn't have another choice outside of sending him home to get a few more to choose from.

Also, the audio has too much "room" in it to me. Was it recorded using an on-camera mic?
