Color Version?

In the R3D decode properties box there is a drop down box option for color version. They are labeled 1 & 2. What do these numbers represent? Red Gamma, Red Gamma 2, rec 709?

but which ones? I assume 2 is the most recent...they need a better labeling system. Or really a better system all together.

Color version 2 in vegas is not recolor2/redgamma2. I believe it is redcolor/redgamma, but to be sure, just load the same footage in redcine-x and vegas and compare the color spaces, or just use version 2. If you need better color than that, you will need to grade outside of vegas until they support rc2/rg2/rlf.

Vegas 11 was released today and it supports EPIC.
But no word of colorscience...
