Hey everyone,
I am currently in the process of purchasing a Clutch to be utilized with a Scarlet and Canon L-series glass. I wanted to see if anyone could clarify what would need to be added to the Clutch shoulder rig in order to mount 15mm rods on the front with parts only from the Red store? Does anybody have a Clutch system that utilizes 15mm rods on the front above the 19mm rods that already come with it? I have talked with a tech at Red over the phone and was told a 15mm Universal Mount centered and an additional 19mm Universal Mount would be needed to add the 15mm rails on the front.
The end result I am looking for is a Clutch shoulder rig, with the required parts from Red in order to send 15mm rods out from a Scarlet with Canon glass. I will eventually be purchasing a follow focus and matte box but since Red does not make a follow focus and their matte boxes are designed for cinema lenses, I want to do the best I can so that the only things I am NOT buying from Red are a follow focus and matte box that will properly fit Canon glass all on top of a Clutch.
Thank you for any and all input, I greatly appreciate it. Pictures would be terrific!
