For those who have missed my announcement in the original thread:
I have just released Clipfinder 2.1.6 (link in my signature).
This version adds the ability to conform FCP projects by replacing references to transcoded Quicktime files with references to RED reference files (proxies).
In the conform dialog, set "Clip Directory" to a directory that contains all of the .RDC directories for the clips you have used in your FCP project.
Editing with transcoded Quicktime files gives you high editing performance, the conform to reference files allows you to finish in high quality in Color (within the limitations listed in RED's white paper).
The conform is fast and painless.
Cheers,
Hans
