  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

CLI tool to extract .R3D metadata?

Besides mdls (which is an apple / spotlight command) are there any command line tools that will extract/print/report back any/all metaData from an R3D file?

One tool that does this for other file types is a tool called exiftool but it does not extend its support to the R3d file format unfortunately. . .

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

The REDCINE-X PRO download includes a tool called REDLINE. This is a CLI with many options.
