Some background info:
This film was shot by a class of 38 grade 9-12 high school students with some CGI elements completed by Red River College's DMT program. Photography started October 24th, 2009 and finished January 10th, 2010.
It was made as part of Atom film's Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge and shot on the school's Red One camera. We have just received confirmation from Atom Films that our film has been accepted into the competition.
This year's challenge includes 89 films from countries all over the world. You can find them here:

There are many impressive films, but I think our film remains a standout. It is a bit lengthy but worth the wait for the ending.

Matt Vosper (Star Wars consultant and assistant producer. He's the one who planted this crazy idea in my head!)
William F Whites (Steve Morrisson and Craig Aftanas - you guys are great!)
Granted there are many flaws but I'm happy with how it turned out. In the end it was way harder to make than I thought it would be. Hope you enjoy it.
