I cant seem to reconnect the Premiere CS6 project to the original R3D files without errors or just doesnt work..

The R3D files are fragmented in 4gb files.. so one proxy mov has one file when the R3D of the same name has like 2 or 3 with 001, 022 on the end ect,..

I tried putting them offline, and relink media but it either ignores my R3D and reloads my proxies or just relinks them out of sync.. on one shot i even get the clapboard part of the clip LOL

What am i doing wrong? It was originally edited on Final Cut but i exported the XMLs sucessfully to a premiere workflow.. But even on my Mac using Final Cut I cant reconnect the files to their original R3Ds.. it just makes a bing sound when i try to select them..

It was edited by someone else. The proxies are in ProRes 422HQ HD.. Any way I can export from the original R3d without reediting?

Anyone know how to relink r3ds with 4gb splits when the proxies are full clips?

Have you tried importing the XML in REDCINE-X and relink to .R3D and then export to Premiere?
When you import .R3D in Premiere use Media Browser the seperated files are imported as 1 R3D clip (when you 'import' clips they are seen as separate clips).
