  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Can't install DSMC software on Windows machine...

Tried two different versions (v4.0 and 3.3) and both fail on install. I get the

Error opening file for writing:

C;\Program Files(x86)\REDmote\linux.inf

I try ignoring that file but it has issues with others as well...



Running Windows 7 service pack 1


any idea what i am doing wrong?

Silly me - I needed to right-click and run as Administrator (thanks for that bit of annoyance, Microsoft!). Working now!
