Can't get audio from anything but Channel 1

I'm using build 17. When I plug my microphone into channel 1, I get an audio signal and can record sound. If I try it in any other channels, I don't get any response from the system.

I've turned on phantom power for all four channels, set recording enabled for all four channels. I set the input gain to reasonably high levels for all the channels. I haven't restarted the camera since changing these settings.

What is it that I'm missing? Or is the new audio board that Red installed completely worthless?

Never mind. I reinstalled the firmware (same version as what was already on the camera ... 17) and suddenly the audio channels all work correctly.

If anyone else runs into the problem I did, try reinstalling your firmware.

Also, when installing the firmware, use the secure digital slot if the compact flash slot freezes up on you. Slow CF cards apparently don't work for firmware updates any better than they work for capturing video. The SD port always expects a slow card.
