Buck the documentary

[James B.]

Had the chance to catch 'Buck' last night at HotDocs. Kudos to first-time director Cindy Meehl, but obviously it was a collaborative effort and cinematographers Guy Mossman, Luke Geissbuhler and editor Toby Shimin, really made this memorable.
This will be huge once it gets wide release(IMHO).
Anyone know what camera(s) and sound equipment were used?

Catch the trailer if you can!

Why will it be huge? Not saying it won't be but based on the trailer, I can't see why it would be...

Kit looks like standard doco gear, both full size ENG cameras and smaller camcorders; at least that what's in the location pics - one even has Panasonic written on it...

Just my opinion but simply a great story which always trumps any technique in the end. Check out the LAtimes review which summarizes my feelings as well
