Following the recent x264 vs H264/Quicktime discussion in the 'Recon' forum, I have installed the vfwx264 codec and have been experimenting with exporting x264 video straight out of Avid and achieving some brilliant results.

I just wondered if there was a way to export a Blu-ray compliant x264 straight out of Avid?

Cheers,

Jamie.

In the x264vfw interface, add the string "--bluray-compat" in the "Extra command line" section. That should do it.
