  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Best ND Variable Filter with no color shift

I really like my Schneider 82mm True-Match Vari-ND Filter. On Epic Dragon 6K I see a little vignetting on my Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L at 16mm when nearing the full 11 stop density. Vignetting doesn't show up on the 24-70mm. There's a slight color shift, but it's consistent through the entire range of density.

I'm looking to pick up a Lindsey Optics 138mm Brilliant Variable ND Filter for 4 x 5.65" to pair with a set of Angenieux EZ-1 and EZ-2. I learned recently that Dwight Lindsey was the CEO at Schneider so I'm hoping to see that same level of quality I've come to expect. Oping to have them in my hands in a few weeks to test.
