Placed our Scarlet order just a little over a month ago (Feb 4th). Of course we have been extremely eager to receive shipment of our camera.
We got our allocation e-mail a few weeks back (much sooner than we expected), it took a few weeks for the wire to be processed and in one of those unbelievable coincidences, we will be receiving shipment of our camera tomorrow which also happens to be my birthday. I have been lucky to be working on projects shot on RED from the very beginning, and have watched as RED has been the camera of choice for more and more DP's and Directors as the tool to create some of the best looking content ever. I have always wanted to be a part of this movement by owning a RED camera and with the release of the Scarlet at such a reasonable price point this dream finally became a possibility. I am so proud to finally be an official part of the RED family, so excited for the future, want to give a special thanks to all the folks at RED for doing what they are doing. See y'all at NAB.
Thanks for making this birthday the best one to date.
