Battery Question Solved? No more side handle?

Am i right in noticing the Scarlet Flyer on reds homepage now says a Redvolt battery and charger, with no more side handle?

So i am guessing you just use Redmote for control, and I assume there will be a way to put the battery on the camera, lol.

I know this was a big question for people.

They haven't yet said what the battery module will be. Something will be included so the camera can operate.

They haven't decided yet, but I think it would be surprising (in the case of the Fixed Scarlet) to not put the battery in the side handle and include that with the kit. I mean, not having a side handle would mean you couldn't even hold the camera handheld...

Except, if you had the side handle, why would they give you a RedMote too?

And also, the kit is already a beyond-insane good deal. If they were to tack on another $950 in freebies...

I know it's a great deal already. That's what I was puzzled about - the fact that they're including a RedMote.

Seeing as the Side Handle is $950, which is very expensive and $450 more than the wireless RedMote with the larger display screen and all, is it safe to say that the Side Handle includes a battery?

at this moment the info sheet doesn't say side handle, but it does say redvolt and redmote.

this is personally fine with me since the redmote is infinitely more usable ( at least in what they have alluded to). I am putting the fixed on a full redrock rail system (shoulder, matte, handles, etc)... unless that super badass (but poorly named ;-P ) GUNNER is affordable, because that looks SOOOOO cool after this last red day.

So I would personally pick redmote over sidehandle. 10$ at home depot can get you something to hang onto if you need it.

The last official word I believe was that they hadn't decided where the battery was going to go. But they never said anything about a side handle coming with the kit - that was only speculation by members here.

I wonder if they will make a cheap side handle that hold no electronics. Seeing as how all you need is the REDMote to run the cam I would be interested in a dummy side handle as just a support system... looks like I will be doing some work in Turbocad in the near future...

Pray to Jannard it is the battery module, I would much rather have that than the sidehandle... But that means that they will also have to include the $300 module adapter... And if that is the case then that makes the 2/3 fixed the deal of a lifetime... Perhaps they will make a propriotry scarlet fixed battery grip thes doesn't include the electronics to control the cam... I'd be cool with that... Scratch that I am cool with whatever RED decides just get that beast in mah hands...
