  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hello,

I am new to RED and want the basic workflow for FCP as I'm lost with it all....

What is the most simple work flow?
 
The mos simple workflow is probably using REDCINE X to get the look you want and transcoding to ProRes. From there, use the .mov files directly within FCP. You can also use the QT reference files generated by the camera as they are .mov files as well.
