Automatically merging external audio sources in FCP?

Is there a way to automatically merge external audio sources with Timecode to the corresponding Jam Sync video tracks in FCP? I'm wondering what are the steps in the workflow when importing these tracks in FCP. Would I have to individually find and select these tracks then hit merge... or can FCP find and merge the tracks on import?

You can use the latest version of REDcine to automatically merge clips but you'll need to be careful to manage each day's takes. Alternatively Sync-N-Link <http://assistedediting.com/Sync-N-Link/> (I helped develop it) will do multiple days. Import audio and video to FCP, organize into dailies or scene bins, export XML to Sync-N-Link and it does the work. The demo does up to 10 clips at a time.
