Auto presets for preview/playback Keymap switch

Hi

I'm trying to use the auto presets feature.

I have two presets :
One for playback, one for preview. I basically want the same thing as with the Red Sidekick but on the Red Side Handle.
They basically are the same preset, but with differences only to side handle keys, for playback controls (play/pause, next clip, direction, speed)

It sure work one way but not the other. When I go back to preview, the preset stays in playback presets and don't revert back to preview.
I actually remember it used to have a auto feature for preview, but I don't have it anymore.

Only
startup (preview preset),
motion (I only have NONE and no options available),
stills (I only have NONE and no options available)
Playback (Playback preset)

Autosave are all checked.

Am I doing something wrong ? Do I really have to assign a preset key to switch the preset back ?

Hi Berenger, did you get this sorted out?

You should be able to use the same button to switch between two presets, if the action (go to the other preset) has been saved separately in both presets.

I'm not familiar with the Auto Preset feature, but if it's problematic for some reason, you could try achieving the same result by saving the presets manually and just switching between them (which is what I do, with a customized-button-layout Preview Preset and a Playback Preset using the same buttons).

As you have, I have created two presets and will use one user button to switch between the two.

But for something that basic, I think it's a pity that the Auto Preset doesn't work (if it is). It's really something simple, that is actually integrated in the Sidekick.
When in playback mode, the 4 user buttons switch to preview control, and that's just exactly the thing I want on the Side handle.

If anyone has made it work, I'm all ears.
