AUDIO OUT!

Hey, sorry but I'm in a major rush, client is asking for audio monitoring options for a shoot starting monday.

Normally, we just rock some headphones and don't provide audio monitoring. We don't have the RED 'Audio Out' cable, which looks like a 5 pin mini XLR. Is this a generic of the shelf cable, or RED specific?

Also, there isn't a chance the HDMI out sends audio too?

Haven't used the 5-pin, but HDMI and HD-SDI both send the audio out. Also, you can just go to Radio Shack and get a $2 cable to convert the headphone jack into anything you need. Will certainly work in a pinch.

If you're in Melbourne we have an audio out cable made up... otherwise no, it isn't an off the shelf item but as Jim said you can use the headphone output in a pinch.
