  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Playback Vibe - A Episodic Raw Musical Show

Playback Vibe are a series of web-isodes of people coming together from different walks of life, coming together with one love! The love of pure music.

This is in collaboration with Atif Ali of Playback Lounge, Dubai and Wajood Music, Fujairah. It was supposed to be shot on 5D initially, but I suggested using RED SCARLET-X. I wanted a very raw look, with very less light and basic color correction.

For lovers of pure music, "Sanson ki mala pe" sung by Adel Farooq is a tribute to legends like Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. a song that started as a "bhajan - a hindu form of musical prayer", and then made its way to a "qawwali - a sufi styled". Atif Ali the music producer has taken the song to a different dimension. Away from the qawwali zone, though keeping the feeling intact with minimal instruments, to give you the intimate unplugged feel...
