Maybe some Third-Party company can come out with some kind of "Expansion Module" using one of the THUNDERBOLT Ports or something. Although that would affect the Max In/Out speed of that port.

I'm sure that information will be available somewhere out there on the web at some point.

IMHO, Apple has gotten too high on their own minimalism. There is plenty of room for a few more ports and an SD card slot.
Just get one of these and your footprint is still very small compared to Mac Pro days. I have one for my M1 MBP Max and that machine still rips pretty good and I get decent expansion.

I have an M2 Mac mini that is mainly dedicated to Nobe Omniscope so I've never had to push it hard but I am curious if there is any throttling on these new ones to deal with heat.

Thank you for pointing this out. Noted!
