Does anyone have a RED Rocket™™ ordered? Please stand up and wave your hands so we can see you, and loathe you!

I hope to work with one towards the end of the year and I would GREATLY appreciate knowing how it works with a monitor fed through dual link HD-SDI.

I do...I think, hopefully...maybe...possibly.

I ordered within hours of it being on the store. Maybe we'll hear soon from RED on shipments or even better, I'll get an email in my box saying I should be receiving it.

Not anything close to 4k.

We have a Panny 24" for the editor and a SONY Plasma for the clients. With the little information on connectors and such, we'll have to wait and see how this thing even works. At a minimum, I would guess we'll take HDSDI out for coloring to the Panasonic. If it can also do DVI to the Plasma, that will work nicely, too.

Yes, I have been following the thread waiting impatiently for updates on performance. However he is using FCP and Adobe. I am more interested in hearing about Vegas.

I have a dream, that I will find an experienced grader willing to finish in Vegas for Blu-Ray using the Rocket to a Pro Plasma... Up until the card is received by a Vegas user and he runs some tests, burns out a Blu-Ray, and confirms the accuracy of the grade on the disc, etc, I don't want to give up on that dream... what a beautiful post that would be. Sound and all... one stop native shop.

I wonder if there will be color wheel control surfaces coming out if it is as fantastic as it should be.

Keep up that dream, but don't forget than nobody supports the Red Rocket currently. Hopefully Vegas for your sake and FCP for mine, will soon, but currently it is only RED Alert.

I'm sure (hoping, anyways) that that will change SOON.

Amen to that brother.

Got my email from Brian. They are shipping...

Buy, buy, buy. :-)

Got my email too! Mine ships today or tomorrow.

Mainly using for fast transcodes but might try connecting 4 DVI monitors to try to look at 4k.

When did you folks place the order?

First night...within hours of it coming online.

First night...within hours of it coming online.

mine is on the way as well...I wasn't even expecting it for awhile. I think the key is that I had a few bucks left in my RED account, so no back n forth with the money was required...

gotta make a little room to install and play....

Anyone got one yet? RocketCine-X was released on RED.com

"The RED Alert!/RED Rushes-like beta application designed specifically for RED Rocket™. Playback and grading realtime. Renders in background."

And it looks like FCP updated their stuff to use the new color science. Hope we can keep up.

Thanks Kevin, I received the email that mine is ready, too. I should get it this week.
