Any chance we could see Anamorphic desqueeze for the Scarlet of the FF35. It doesn't take a lot of processing power to correct for anamorphic, I've seen $200 monitors do it without any trouble. It wouldn't add much if anything to the price would it?

..but if you're shooting anamorphic glass (with the attendant costs involved, and you're probably renting not buying), why wouldn't you be shooting on Epic anyway?

Anamorphic glass is a Big Boys game, price-wise.

I'm sure with the FF35 sensor it will be easier to perform a 2:1 monitor desqueeze than the current math they are doing now to get anamorphic desqueeze in a 16x9 Mysterium Sensor. If not right away I would assume it will be a feature enabled shortly after release, however I wouldn't be at all surprised if by the time those cameras are ready to ship that feature is already enabled out of the box. That said, this feature may only be an Epic feature to access. Time will tell.
