I've been shooting with the Red One for a month now and I still keep having questions I cant solve on my own. If the 4 parameters that directly affect the raw footage from the settings of the Red Cam are; shutter, base time, resolution and compression. How can I know what kind of compression im working with if shooting at REDCODE 28 or REDCODE 36 or REDCODE 42?
Im actually using REDCODE 36, but without really knowing if this compression is the best one to use. The proyect is being shot at 2K.
Is there any way of knowing which of these compressions suits best your image if the finality is that it will be shown on analog TV.
If it were shown on Digital TV?

Thanks for your help!!
