Interesting concept, seems to be an entirely different approach. This involves a 3rd party filter and a post process to go with it. Footage to be shown in SMPTE in Sydney this July, but here's some footage from an S3D project:

In regards to the light spectrum response images in your pdf, was the before image shot with any OLPF at all?
